Aspen’s PD-Series (Petroleum Series) designed for hauling skid mounted loads and construction equipment which primarily serve the energy (Oilfield) industry and are suitable for both on road and off road applications. Configurations vary from payloads of 40 tons through 85 ton capacities, with axle configurations ranging from 8 through 13 axles (including truck axles). Aspen PD-Series trailers feature flat decks (no gooseneck) with tail rolls or square tail rear frames. PD-Series trailers can be configured with various deck widths and lengths including custom options. The PD-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions, with transporter equalization achieved by combinations of jeeps & boosters with common air/regulated air suspensions. Aspen’s PD-Series of trailers are available in specific regional interstate configurations (United States and Canada) to maximize trailer configurations for specific regional regulations.

Series Features and Benefits
- Aspen’s PD-Series trailers feature tapered goosenecks for decreased interference between truck and trailer. Along with our high performance neck, our design is engineered for easy loading, and decreased interference between trailer and jeep (jeep swing clearance). Our neck design ensures that your driver is as efficient as possible so that you can Haul More.
- Throughout our trailers, Aspen uses hardened steel bushings for less maintenance and longer life of those moving points. Sloppy linkage means decreased efficiencies and driver’s that are nervous about the trailer and the load.
- Aspen’s P-Series (Oilfield) trailers all have extreme duty, free-wheeling tail rolls that have self-aligning spherical bearings to ensure the rolls works as they are supposed to as the operator sucks those heavy skid mounted loads over the back. Lighter weight competitive trailers often have a tail roll that is not up to the job and those heavy loads deform the tail roll making loading that much more difficult. These hidden features ensure your operator is as efficient as possible so that you can Haul More.
