Wind Tower Section Transporter

Aspen’s wind tower section hauling trailers serve the wind energy industry. Configurations vary from payloads of 35 tons through 85 ton capacities, with axle configurations ranging from 7 through 13 axles (including truck axles). These transporters feature front and rear Schnabel necks or front Schnabel with a rear saddle mounted on another type of hauling unit. Half Schnabel Transporter
• Designed for transport of top sections and upper mid sections
• Front Schnabel neck with 4 axle tractor and three or four axle steering dolly
• Ability to connect Front Schnabel to dolly for back haul
• Optional dolly bunks and porches

Full Schnabel Transporter
• Designed for transport of base sections and heavy mid sections
• 13 axle configuration using four axle tractor, three axle jeep and 6 axle steering dolly
• Lightweight design for increased payload, tare weights starting at 83,000 Lbs.
• Ability to connect Schnabel necks for back haul
